Things to consider when going from REIM into development?

Hi all,

Short bio on me: 2 years in at a boutique REPE, 1 year in REIM for a bb, pre-MBA. I was wondering if anyone who’s seen this this transition could shine some light on what my expectations should be. Stated pay bump + bonus is considerable and I’d be moving to a much smaller firm working on smaller deals... any impact if I ever decide to go back into institutional RE finance?
