New York or LA?
NY
Solid NY and LA are the only ones with exposure to the equity side from what I understand and the equity side is growing significantly.
Fantastic firm. Growing very fast with multiple verticals under both debt and equity. One of the strongest workforce housing firms and have had great returns in their first few funds. You would learn a ton by working there. I can’t comment on the hours as I don’t have that insight.
Thanks!

Anyone have an idea on comp for an associate?
Bump - curious to hear about wlb/culture and comp
They just beat us out on a deal in the NE. Their platform seems extremely nimble and willing to take on calculated risks where other's cannot. Seems a great spot to work.
Also interested in reputation/culture/WLB?
Bump. Any updated insights on these guys?
They just beat us out on a cool project in NY. They're savvy and were crafty with the capital formation to get the deal done. Don't know anyone there but they're legit.
What do you mean crafty with the capital formation? What did they do that others couldn’t?
They do ground up in the NE? I thought they were a southeast work force housing investor.
They pivoted to mostly credit investments several years ago.
They have balance sheet capital and will come in as co-gp, LP, etc. pretty versatile.
The guys I'm thinking of are about to break ground on a project on LI
.
lol yea. That thing was floating around for awhile but became kind of interesting with some structure. Sewer treatment plant not ideal. Think PGIM did the financing.
