Thoughts on Greenwich Group International?

Monkeys,

What are your thoughts on Greenwich Group International's investment banking division? I'd appreciate any insight regarding their culture, deal flow, comp, and exit opps. Their website lacks information regarding recent deals, but from what I can gather their IBD focuses on debt and equity financing and recaps.

Thanks!

I know many real estate brokerages are guilty of being debt brokers but calling themselves "real estate investment bankers" and we have discussed and analyzed this ad naseum on WSO but imo, Greenwich might be the most egregious example because many times their analysts completely drop out the word "real estate" at all and have "investment banking analyst" as their titles on linkedin. That is too much lol. Real estate is the most important part of the job. I get it why its done, its for optics, IB sounds better and more prestigious, but one cannot deny that its cringy. Cant chime in on their deal flow and comp but know that they hire a shit ton of unpaid (mostly international students) interns who pretty much function as their analysts year round.
