Currently in another top tier CA city doing acquisitions in multifamily, looking to make the move to Los Angeles.
I am familiar with a lot of the big firms who have LA offices, and am obviously doing independent research, but any additional info would be a great help. It is harder to find the smaller/more localized shops from a distance.
I see a few decent listings on Select Leaders within LA County for analyst/associate roles but it looks like it may take some cold emails and networking if I want to secure something before making the move.
Would probably be easier if you typed out a list of which you know of and then we can chime in, otherwise it might be redundant.
Here's a list of firms headquarterd in LA Metro and ranked by MF transactions (nationwide) closed in past 24 months.
Other down the list, SARES-REGIS, Pacific Life, CIM, Investors Management, Saban Capital Group, Aragon......

CBREI resi guys are out of Boston I believe. They may have an LA team, but the ones I've worked with are out of Beantown.
