UNC MBA w/ RE concentration for Development/PE, yes or no?

Currently a junior analyst at a mortgage banking shop and looking at UNC's MBA program. Looking to get into development or PE. Would this program open enough doors? I know it is not a top MBA, but it is T20. How is the alumni network for real estate? Also considering MSRED programs but I am thinking an MBA will open more broad doors than a specialized MSRED. Thoughts?

Great school with a great alumni base. It is real estate, so ultimately you have to create your own opportunities but Kenan-Flagler should make doing that pretty easy.

It is unquestionably a feeder to top development shops. I know a ton of grads from this program, all of which have good jobs at name brand firms.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it is very helpful. Looks like I should start figuring out my application because I think it would be a good place for me.
