Union Bank Portfolio Analyst - What Career Routes are Possible After This?

So I am about to graduate with my Master's in Finance and I was offered this job at Union Bank:

**"Reporting to the designated supervisor, the Portfolio Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Portfolio Management team for Union Bank – Community Development Finance (“CDF”). CDF provides real estate construction, permanent loans, and tax credit equity investments, and is a leader in affordable housing finance in California. Does this sound like you?

In this role you will work closely with and support the supervisor on the monthly accounting and finance process. You will assist in maintaining databases accuracy for reporting and financial analysis purposes, including developing and producing portfolio financial summaries, ensuring books and records / transactions are accurate and complete.

You will prepare transactions for the database (such as equity projection updates, tax return and financial statement updates) and month end reconciliations.
You will prepare a flux analysis of MoM changes and how these may impact the forecast and other PM team members.
Additional responsibilities may include invoice processing, check and wire preparation for Non-Interest Income and Operating Expense forecast.
You participate with monthly month-end close memo of notable items and track open items to follow up and resolve them.
You help with QuickBooks Fund Financials workpaper and VIE work product, including impairment workpapers, CDF sponsored fund financials, Bank Recons, UB sponsored fund related inquiries.
Collaborate with internal and external partners (such as SOX team, Corporate Tax Department, Business Unit Controllers, Investors, etc.)
You will support manager in efficiency projects, operational improvement projects, and other ad-hoc special projects and analyses as directed.
Participate in the review of the annual financial statement and tax return of the tax credit investment portfolio.
Includes assisting in the review of CDF’s Syndication Fund financial statement and tax returns, where CDF engages 3rd party CPAs.
Analysis on how the annual financials and tax return of the tax credit investment portfolio would impact the forecast.
Complete audit confirmations.
Assist with the accounting and finance aspect of Disposition related matters (such as Disposition Memos, yield proof, expected cash flow analysis, etc.)"**

Does anyone have an opinion on what job opportunities I can pivot to after working in this role? I don't have job experience in a technical finance role but I do have experience through my master's program. I have had hardly any luck getting interviews for IB roles (just got one for a sales IB role... any thoughts on that?) and am looking to dive into the finance industry and hopefully set myself up to break into IB or trading as my ideal scenario. Maybe asset management.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
