US based firms doing EU investments

I am looking for US based-firms that do EU investments stateside. A little background, currently London based doing pan-European investments but unfortunately gf moved to New York for long term. I am not that far in my career (ASO1) but I am keen to try use my EU network while in the US rather than having to start again. I have a US passport and went to school there so visa/culture not an issue. Would be great to hear some names and/or experience with them. Thanks!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights and examples of US-based firms that engage in European investments:

  1. Hg Capital: Known for moving people from Europe to the US when they opened their office in New York.
  2. Bridgepoint: Also moved personnel from Europe to the US, indicating their involvement in cross-Atlantic investments.
  3. Verlinvest: This firm has a history of relocating employees across global offices, including from London to New York, which suggests their active engagement in both European and US markets.

These firms have demonstrated a capacity for cross-Atlantic operations and could potentially leverage your European network while you are based in the US.
