USC MRED Acceptance Rate?

Hi,

I am thinking of applying to the USC MRED program and was wondering how competitive they are. To my understanding, experience in real estate is a must. I have several years of equity research under my belt and also close to a year and half in underwriting real estate loans (including transactions that involved top PE shops)....but now want to transition into REPE or investments.

Thanks!

Not necessarily bad but as someone in DC I’m not sure I see any value. An MBA would be more beneficial to switching into real estate IMO. MBA would be a better career accelerator for those already in the industry as well.

I just don’t see people getting recruited from the program.
