Wash DC recruiting firms
Hi all
I'm relocating from LA -> Wash DC/VA for personal reasons and am exploring the REPE market out there, including debt funds/capital advisory. Appears majority of hotel REITS are based in Maryland, not sure why. But curious if anyone has worked with recruiting firms out there to be placed in CRE roles? Would be interested to start discussing with them outside of my professional network that I'm tapping. My background is more mid-level with 5-10 years experience in CRE underwriting primarily on credit said as well as working at a development shop in hotels/multifamily.

All the hotel REITs are in Bethesda. Most of the REPEs are in DT Bethesda too, because most of the principals live in Montgomery County. That and DC is basically a communist state.
I interviewed for CM positions for a bunch of big heavies in multifamily in DC through Michael Page, i've had some good luck with them. They've had a bunch of open DM/Analyst positions open through them as well.
I get hit up by Aerotek and Hays all the time but I think that's more on the construction/CM end than the DM end. They're in my inbox 24/7.
