I am currently on the AM side, relatively junior, looking to break into REPE acquisitions. I realize a lot of interviewers/deal teams are looking for associates with previous deal side exp., know how to calculate waterfalls, etc.
a) What are some other skills REPE guys are looking for? b) How can I learn the ins and outs of waterfall models? Can someone PM me a model/template that helped them? And has anyone taken a course that they can recommend?
