West Coast Value Add Funds?

I'm finishing up school this semester and am really interested in working at a very hands-on value-add shop that ideally invests across all product types (kind of like a Savanna Fund of the west coast). Aside from the megafunds that follow this strategy, what other groups in the LA/SoCal/Denver/Phoenix regions come to mind? Thank you so much.
