What are some good debt and equity placement shops I could apply to in NYC?
I have both a residential and commercial lending background.
I've received an offer from 1 relatively small debt and equity brokerage based out of Brooklyn.
Pay is 15% - 25% of what the house brings in per deal. They primarily do sub - $8 million multi-family deals in the NYC/NJ metropolitan area. I've heard they're not the best place to work, but I could use it as a great foundation into the NYC real estate capital markets industry.
I just moved to NYC from Cleveland, and I'm 24 years old.
