What are the amazing architectures you have seen?

I don't think there has been a similar thread on this topic.

When I was in college, among many other things, what drew me to real estate was the amazing architectures of the buildings you could possibly work on.

With that, what do you think are the most special/unique buildings you have seen around the word?

I will start. I really like the London Shard. Might sound lame to some people but the height, the design, and the symbolic nature really is second to none in Europe.

From a technical standpoint I really like 601 Lexington Ave, and I've always enjoyed the designs of 550 Madison Ave, the Chrysler Building, and the Transamerica Pyramid. But if we're talking amazing architecture? I'm not sure if anything in the world beats St. Peters Basilica in the Vatican City. It is easily the most awe-inspiring building I have ever step foot in, it's incredible. I think having a knowledge of Italian architecture (and architecture/arts in general) helps you appreciate the building, but it's so unlike anything else we normally see that I think anyone would be stunned by it. I saw it after a two-week long visit to Europe and had been in countless churches throughout the continent, some large and some small, so I figured I'd be ready, but I was wrong. It takes your breath away.

The Pantheon is by far my most favorite building, modern or old, that I have been in. Dubai and Doha both have some memorable buildings. In Dubai the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab were cool. In Doha the Islamic Art Musuem is a pretty awesome building (can't go wrong with I.M. Pei). The Palais Granier in Paris is a gem. The lobby area, it's ceiling, and grand staircase are the best part imo.
