What Better - Nationwide Debt Platform or Tier 1 City Equity

Sort of in a dilemma team. I have the ability to go to either a top tier lender that lends nationwide on Value-Add/Transitional/Development deals or to a tier 1 sponsor in a tier 1 city.

Long term, I think I want to do pure-play LP capital allocation. What's going to set me up best?
