Hey everyone, I do debt AM in CRE and my boss mentioned that every year or so, our group undertakes an acquisition of another firm's debt portfolio for whatever reasons. Does anyone here know if this requires valuation of the portfolio? I'd assume so but not sure. I'd like to hear anybody l anybody's experience with thesE if they have any.
