What is Invesco comp? It’s confusing
Invesco will hire people with one year of experience and call them associates. What’s comp look like for this sort of position? Genuinely curious and would appreciate some insight. Thanks so much

Interviewed back in 2020 for a senior associate position. It was $140K plus $40k bonus in NY.
That is not terrible, but not great depending on your experience e.g. great for 4-6 years of experience, not great 6-8
There's an Invesco discount. 15% stub bonus for the associates (analysts) that can be beat in good years.
They believe that the Invesco name is valuable enough that they don't have to pay you market because you're getting the experience of Invesco.
The good ole Lifeco discount
Invesco is life co? I thought they were just an investment manager.
Pay is definitely below market but not a bad place to start out, imo. At the associate level, I believe the figure being thrown out is $125k (tier 1 city). Keep in mind this is base salary. Unsure on bonus band.
I have many friends that work there. I am constantly shocked by how low their pay is compared to other shops.
Do you know any specifics?
Sure. One senior asset manager I know in a major market that's got 7 yrs of experience very recently revealed over drinks that his base is 140k
Any idea what directors or senior directors level are making? In acquisitions.
Life Co Directors are $300-400 total comp and senior directors are ~$450-600 total comp. 600 more so when running a team.
Do you know what exactly is this position? Not sure if this is acquisitions, asset management, or a combination of both or something else. And is the director title just one level above associate? Appreciate any insights, thank you!

Not sure about how it works internally, but that’s an asset management role if I ever saw one.
It’s a real asset management roll though, not a “lock this nerd in the back and don’t let him talk to people” role.
