What is the story with Multifi (Berkadia's SBL team) failure?
Noticed, lots of employees had left and Chris Phillips, the "founder" went to Walker & Dunlop as well. Does Multifi still exist? Any insiders have any thoughts on the experiment and what went wrong?
Extremely misleading (and inaccurate) headline. Multifi is not and never was Berkadia's SBL team. It was a corporate investment in a third party proptech firm that failed miserably.
But to say this is Berkadia's SBL team is simply not true.
Why did it fail miserably? Is that hyberbole?
