What % of your total after-tax income do you spend on your partner (be it for gifts, trips, big meals etc...not counting paying for regular dining out and small stuff)?

Not very RE related, but want to see what us RE folks do when it comes to taking care of of significant other. It'll be helpful to know what the $ of after tax income is as well, as the % will likely be lower the higher your income is?

I'll go first. ~$200K after tax. I spend about 10% on gifts and trips a year

Anyone thinking of their partner in these terms probably isn't emotionally mature enough to have a significant other.

As long as our joint budget is in line with what we've planned, who cares?

Seriously. I have zero clue how much I spend on my wife and I'm not entirely sure what the point of calculating that would be.

I'm sure OP has some complex system which ties various sex acts to increased "funding."

The entire question just screams "why don't you just hire a prostitute every couple weeks"
