What % of your total after-tax income do you spend on your partner (be it for gifts, trips, big meals etc...not counting paying for regular dining out and small stuff)?
Not very RE related, but want to see what us RE folks do when it comes to taking care of of significant other. It'll be helpful to know what the $ of after tax income is as well, as the % will likely be lower the higher your income is?
I'll go first. ~$200K after tax. I spend about 10% on gifts and trips a year
What do you do to make 2M post-tax?
None she’s just left me.
I'm married with 2 kids so 100% of my income goes to my significant other in one way or another.
I feel this to my core.
LOL, was thinking about making a similar post, +1 totally!

Anyone thinking of their partner in these terms probably isn't emotionally mature enough to have a significant other.
As long as our joint budget is in line with what we've planned, who cares?
Seriously. I have zero clue how much I spend on my wife and I'm not entirely sure what the point of calculating that would be.
I'm sure OP has some complex system which ties various sex acts to increased "funding."
The entire question just screams "why don't you just hire a prostitute every couple weeks"
It's pure finbro mindset for sure!
$20k per year? How much of that is stuff exclusively for her (eg clothes, perfume, jewelry) vs things you do together (trips, dinners, shows)?
If it’s 100% category 1… I hate to break it to you, but you have a sugar baby.
Most of it is paying for our trips together. I'd say I buy her a xmas gift and bday gift, each a jewelry that's a couple (~1-3K) a year. The rest are for splurging on a nice dinner/traveling.
