What roles would substitue real estate financial analyst role in an international banks

There are not much real estate financial analyst roles (such as AM or acqusitions) in my country, so in what role I can do a solid internship in the first summer of university? I would prefer working at an international bank if possible, but I dont know which roles or positions would help me to improve my financial skills and look an impressive job for employers in CRE industry after my graduation

PS: I have strong connections from RE/MAX, in what role they can help me if I wanna work in AM or acquisition after graduation
