Freshman doing a summer intern at a REIB rn. I want to get an acquisitions role next summer.

My advice might be to just start networking now with alums from your school (reach out to them via email or linkedin), and begin getting your name out there. They'll let you know when things open up, you should be in a good spot if your in REIB after freshmen year. Its a numbers game, so start talking to one alum at least everyday during this internship.
