When to follow up on Case Study submission (small firm)
interviwing for a small team (1-2 people including hiring manager/md) at a family office. Submitted case study on monday EOB (been told by professors and senior peers that it was very good) but still havent heard back (weds) from the hiring manager. Should i follow up on Thursday? Chat Gpt says so haha.
Case Study was sent to me 1-2 hours after my interview, does that mean anything?
No recommendations here, but when I completed a case (successfully), it's taken 1 to 2 weeks to hear back for next steps when I had more than 24 hours to complete the case, for both an institutional firm and family run firm. For cases with a time limit, I've heard back within a couple of days.

Wait at least a week. They could be busy or traveling and haven't even looked at it yet.
It's a family office bro chill. Next week you can start to follow up. These places move at their own speed that's what their culture is like this isn't blackstone.
