Where to move in RE?

I worked for an agency lender for a few years, moved to a debt fund for a new challenge and quit after a few months because it was a sweat shop and and I hated it. I don't want to go back to agency, don't want to work until late into the night anymore, I don't need a huge bonus, I just want something interesting with a good work life balance that isn't centered around crazy closing timelines. In my mind the AM team for the core portfolio at an institutional shop sounds like it would be good, but maybe the analyst/associates still have it rough there. Does anyone have any guidance on what type of team/shop might meet my criteria?
