Who Is the Best Commercial Real Estate Broker in Oakland? Need Recommendations!

Hi all,

I’m interested in finding the best commercial real estate broker in Oakland to assist me with purchasing or leasing commercial properties. Since the market can be tricky, I want to work with someone experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.

If you have any suggestions or have had good experiences with specific brokers or agencies in Oakland, please share your thoughts. It would be great to know about their expertise and professionalism as well.

Not familiar with the Oakland market but a couple considerations.

Find a broker who specializes in the product type you are looking for in Oakland. Within commercial, brokers tend to focus on either office, industrial, or retail. Guys who try to do everything are usually the guys I avoid.

Are you primarily concerned with leasing or buying? It is common for tenants to have tenant rep brokers and most LL rep brokers welcome working with them. If you have a buyer’s broker for purchasing properties you can forget about other brokers sending you off market deals or trying to dig one up for you. Even if it is a broadly marketed listing where the seller’s broker has agreed to split their fee with potential buyer’s brokers, you will be on the bottom of the list of people they want to work with vs. a buyer who is negotiating directly.
