Will transaction activity pick up if there’s a hard landing / recession?
Transaction activity is in a lull right now due to the bid ask spread that exists. If there's a recession / hard landing, will that lead to transaction activity picking up ? What event do you think will lead to this bid ask spread reducing? I don’t see any reason for transaction activity to pick up for the time being with rates still rising (or even holding where they are) and there not being enough pronounced distress.
