ACT/SAT on Resume for IB?
Saw a post asking about act/sat scores and where they ended up job wise after college, I saw a lot of posts saying it was helpful putting that score on their resume. I am planning on recruiting for full time positions this summer , should I add my test score to my resume or am I too old because I’ll be recruiting as a SA Junior, going into my senior year , when I took my ACT my junior year high school
You don’t need to, unless its really high and you wanna show off. Does play a minor role in differentiating from rest for PE recruiting tho.
Is there any possibility that I add it to my resume, and the person looking at my resume will think it’s strange I added test scores ? If it’s high score but it was in high school
do it at 35+/1550+. It's silly but I definitely think it helped me. 3x recommend if you're non-target
Perfect thanks, I’m non target but have a 35, much appreciated
I would definitely show it.
Certain Universities are targeted not only because of academic rigor, but because a students ability to get in says something about their intelligent.
To get into those schools, they use standardized testing as a proxy for intelligence.
Showing you have a 35 should shut down any questions of your intelligence when comparing with a target school student for the most part
Definitely helps if above 33 & especially you come from a non-target.
Thoughts on what to do with a 1460 (760 math) at a non-target?
It's a solid score but not sure if including it will come off as somewhat pretentious trying to flex a score that isn't really outstanding
