Advise - On drafting email to the HR

Hi All,

Just wanted some advise on sending an email to the HR for applying for an analyst position.

I'm currently working as a intern in the same firm reporting to a influential manager (designation is MD). Luckily I was able discuss my aspirations with him (to join as an analyst) and he advised that I send my CV to the HR (a person I know) and CC him.

Given the situation would a simple one line email suffice? Something like:

"Hi [HR],

Please see attached my resume for the analyst program.

[Close]
[Name]"

Since my boss is copied I think I have to keep it short but same time I think I should be polite to the HR... any feedback on this please?
