Any suggestions on Resume work and or how to present current job situation?
Entire acquisitions team was laid off a year ago. I received a couple of offers since that time but for various reasons didn't take it. Joined a contract role around 6 months ago where I'm underwriting for the CEO ( 2 man company right now so prob doesnt look great). Now I wonder if I screwed myself because I feel like I'm not getting interviews for jobs that I have extremely relevant experience for.
I'm wondering if its my resume and if any of you have suggestions for a company that looks at resumes and how to present my current situation ( should I include the contract role on the resume or not). Appreciate any suggestions.
