Australian Resume Review

Hey Guys

http://www.razume.com/documents/27333

I would love for you to have a look over my resume and let me know what you think. Pretty new to all of this.

I'm from Australia so keep that in mind. Just about finished my degree and currently applying for finance related positions within banks in Australia.

Would appreciate any feedback!

Cheers

The thing is that you've missed the boat for grad hiring (I think). So you're most likely going for off-cycle recruitment and in this market, it's a pain. Unless of course, that is your intention.

With respect to your resume, drop the student exchange line; no one gives a damn as a grad. Also for work experience, put the most recent on top; and quantify the metrics where possible (for example, the internal systems bit...how much more efficient? What was the cost saving?). Give an idea of the companies you analysed. Dare I say it, you've got experience most grads would kill for but you aren't presenting it right.

Otherwise the format is fine. Just don't forget a references section - whether you provide names and numbers is up to you.

Good luck!

Thanks mate, really appreciate the feedback. I already have a grad position lined up. I just wanted to try and improve it for other reasons, I always want to keep continually improving it to be honest.

Any other feedback would be greatly appreciate, I will make the changes as soon as possible.

Cheers
