background Check Help???

I recently got an internship offer as an accountant for a company. My resume says Accounting major because I have taken all the accounting courses necessary and I am on track to graduate with the degree at my school but I am officially still an English major because I need to finish two more courses for the switch to be official. What should I do on my background check or should I call them and explain this. I also exaggerated an accomplishment in my past job. I didnt mean to lie I was just trying to sell myself. Can these things take away my offer Im really freaking out it will.
