Beautifying my CV - too far?
So I am a second year analyst in Asset Management and am looking to break into IBD. I am not valuing companies in my current role but my team used to be in charge of in-house m&a and I have access to old valuations & due diligence docs. I have enough materials to talk about these projects in an interview, but is it worth it to say on my CV that I was involved in them? I am applying for off-cycle internships only.
Unless you're able to know 75% of the deal and the deal dynamics, then yes, just a leap too far
If you did not work on these M&A projects, I would not do this as the projects are not a reflection of your work.
Thanks for your reply. Beyond ethics, do you oppose this on any other grounds?
Honestly, it would just look a bit silly. It would be like if I spoke about a transaction during my interview that I read about in the WSJ or if I discussed military service during my interview because I read a biography on General Patton.
Henry Rollins! How you been!?
In what world would this be ok? Jesus christ.
