Can GMAT score materially improve resume?
Hey folks,
I've been thinking about ways to bullet proof my resume for '25 on-cycle recruiting and was wondering if a high GMAT score would help. I'm not sure if I'd ever actually go to business school (not unless needed), but was curious if a really high GMAT might boost my resume. I already list my ACT, so might be redundant.
Another concern of mine is that having a GMAT implies that you're thinking of going to business school in the next ~5 years, whereas an increasing number of funds don't require them to progress anymore. Might indicate less commitment to the career path long term. Realize that's a bit convoluted, but getting dinged can be sometimes be for the smallest things.
Thanks!
IMO, not really going to do much unless your GPA is low or your school is a no-name.
