Can I round my GPA
Can I round my gpa from 3.78 to a 3.8 on my resume? I’ve heard mix things about rounding. I know 3.79 u can def round but what about a 3.78 to a 3.8?

I don't see a problem with it. Just make sure to keep it 3.8, not 3.80
Out of curiosity, what’s the rationale for being able to round for 3.79 that doesn’t work with 3.78?

A family member of mine is an MD for BCG. I gave him my resume to critique. I had a 3.45 GPA at the time he suggested that I round up to 3.5. If you’re at X. X5 or higher he says it’s ok to round up. If you’re less don’t round down keep it at the true number. 3.44 stays as such.
I asked him if that applies for every job type. He said yes.
