Can I state my upward trend GPA on my resume?

Had a death in the family so first sem was hard for me and i got a 3.2 gpa. For reference I go to a top target think HYPSW. But last semester I got a 3.7, next semester I am sure I will get a 4.0. I've seen people do this on their resumes and I was wondering if it is looked down upon. My overall gpa end of sophomore first sem will be a 3.6 ish.

Cumulative GPA: 3.6../4.00 [Last two semesters 3.85/4.00] or does this look stupid pls be honest. Also I have good internships and ecs if thats any other context

it probably doesn't matter much, though if i had to guess it may help you a tincy bit more if you did include the last two semesters thing. Dont really see any consequences of doing that so i guess go for it. maybe some recruiting/more senior people can chime in though
