CFA before transfer
So I was thinking, when I transfer to my next school, will it look good that I have taken the CFA exam 1? Because I am really considering taking it because I am not sure if I can make it to any of the ivy league schools and how will it look when I am searching for a job like a IB? Thanks
Just curious - did you study finance/economics in undergrad? CFA Level I is just all of everything you learned (portfolio theory, quantitative methods, etc.) plus ethics all in one exam. I can't speak on whether it will help you, per se, but it can't hurt to get it started at a young age if getting your CFA designation matters to you. However, a lot of people think being a candidate at any of the levels or even having completed it will get you somewhere further. Networking and work experience still mean everything, in my humble opinion.
