I transferred in undergrad as well. I have my GPA from the university I graduated from as well as my cumulative GPA on my resume. I just indicate which is which with a brief parenthetical. It's never been been an issue for me. It should go without saying, put whichever is higher first.
I agree with you, but I just don't want to list 4 different GPAs on my resume (Majors, Cumulative, Current Institution, Previous Institution).
