CV advice please

1st year physics undergrad looking to apply to spring weeks next year (second year of a 4 year degree) and summer internships in penultimate year of degree for investment banking. Please give honest advice, don't hold back hahahaha

Remove profile, align all dates on the right hand side and use shortened month names eg Sep.

Expand on academics to include module scores or something to fill up space

Add any relevant finance uni exp like subcommittees or something

Your interests / hobbies aren’t that impressive and need more stuff there eg languages, volunteering idk

There’s not a single number or good bullet point here, all should be action verbs at the start and quantifiable

It really seems like you haven’t even searched up how to write a decent cv, there’s plenty of guides eg M&I

 

Looking at the guides now, thank you. What do you think about the Extra curricular section, gonna end up grouping it with other stuff like languages etc but do you think I should keep that sort of thing in? Not financially related but still mathematical.

 

Yeah anything of interest, have separate sections like Skills: (not PPT or excel, they know you know that), Interests: eg professional boxing, Tottenham fan, etc., Languages: English (Native), etc.
