day trading on the resume?

Hi all, I have been practicing day trading in the forex market for 5 years managing around 20k portfolio. On my resume, I have prior financial working experience in the hospitality industry and clothing industry. Then I changed my mind and started the MBA program trying to get involved in the investment fund/banking industry. Do you think putting my day trading experience on the resume can help it to have a better looking for this new industry? It looks weird independent trader but I want to show that I have good experience and knowledge in this field before a possible interview. What do you think?
