There is a comma after reading. Get rid of it

I think you should change the wording of "played gigs with my band"

Get rid of the entire technical skills line unless you have any other technical skills

Change the wording of "Supervised every department (finance, marketing and sales, human resources, etc.) and created weekly plans" I really dislike the etc part and that you are using brackets (just my personal opinion)

I would also advice you to change the spacing a outlook a little bit so it looks less like M&I's template

Please take no offence, but I have never opened a resume on this forum with .doc extension.

"I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature."

Thanks for all of the great responses. I made some changes to my resume, and I've attached it at the top.

Ambani, I made it a pdf file so you wouldn't have to download anything.

Tell me what you guys think and thanks in advance for all of the responses.

Add an extra line between each section so there isn't so much white space at the bottom.

If you're of Chinese descent, you might also want to add that you're a native English speaker. Just in case.

Wouldn't that be obsolete because he is writing his resume in English?

Maybe, maybe not. I may have a different view of things because I work in Asia, but I've always figured that if you have the space available (and almost everyone does) then you should state that you're a native/fluent English speaker. It can't hurt, and in rare occasions it can help assure people that you won't have trouble keeping up with documents or communicating with coworkers.
