Do I even stand a chance? Please be honest. Thank you.

I am a junior non target looking for a summer analyst position hopefully in IBD. Any comments or feedback would be amazing. Do you think that the i should have the retail experience on my resume? Also the reason that I went from two summers as a technology intern back to retail was because fall term 2012 I was hospitalized a long time and was medically unable to attend school so I had to withdraw for a year. It really threw me off my path and i ended up working retail for the summer in order to start to pay off some of my medical bills so that if the doctor cleared me i could attend school in the fall. Do you think it is realistic for me to get an internship with no prior finance experience, I have good connections with some firms from networking and have referrals for interviews at 6 banks. Thank you so much for your help.
