Ethical question - claiming deal on resume that closed 1 month after you left?
I just lateraled. Not looking any time soon but for the sake of my resume, my old deal team just announced a deal this past week. I ran it basically to the last lap but not completely over the finish line since I left before then. If asked I'd be completely honest about it and they could see from the date on the press release vs. when I left my old firm, but is it fair game to still include it as transaction experience?
