GPA for undergrad programs

My friends gpa is below the ideal gpa for an undergrad program and we were discussing whether or not he should just put the minimum required gpa and then work towards that number by the time they ask for his transcripts, or put the real gpa. Pls give me your insights

Depends on how certain your friend is that he will get the required gpa. You don’t won’t to be in a situation where you go through all of the interview processes to be turned down because your transcript showed you lied. If you are 50/50 I would do it as he can always work hard over the year to get it up. Hope that helps.
