High School Valedictorian on Resume?

Is putting a quick bullet point under your GPA that you were your high school valedictorian a good idea on a resume (esp. if you're looking to fill in some space)? Would it also help to add the number of students at your high school (in my case, 350)? My high school itself was a shitty public so I doubt putting the name would help me.

If you are a rising junior or younger, I think it is fine to put it on your resume not class size though, just status). If you are older than that, I wouldn't include anything from your HS on your resume and try to throw on a few more hobbies, skill or some such thing.

Why not the class size? Mine was 500, so a quick line saying 1/500 would make an impression I think, versus a class size of 50-100 for a lot of schools. Even if you beat 500 kids from an OK school, it's still beating 500 kids and shows that your academic success has been well-established.
