Its legal name is Citibank N.A.
I would use that but hyphenate it with the group you were in (i.e. - Institutional Clients Group, etc.).
legal name of IBD is actually Citigroup Global Markets Inc.
if you write Citibank N.A. you’re basically saying you work at a branch
Is it best to play it safe and write Citigroup and then under that write my role?
I always thought it was appropriate to write out the name of the division you were in given banks have so many different companies under the parent. Example: “Wells Fargo Securities” instead of “Wells Fargo”
just be consistent with the rest of your resume. if you write full legal names then use global markets, else just citigroup / citi
Salomon Brothers
It’s an advertising document for your work history, it’s ok to not use the legal names lol
