HR CV screenings

Before CVs gets to actual bankers/traders, how much do the HR personnel eliminate CVs for not conforming to something like the WSO format?
More specifically – is a CV with a 0.5-INCH left/right (& bottom margin) – as opposed to 1–2-inch margins – likely to be eliminated by HR departments?

Funniest

Yeah they all get a ruler as soon as they’re hired and are taught how to measure margins while trying to see if you came from Oxbridge or Shithousery University. The former, obviously, bears much more weight.

😂🤣 I just wanted to get out of my head to ask knowledgeable people about if my worries are valid. I'm extremely non-target but have lots of extraordinary achievements asides BB M&A & a no-name IB outside Europe. I'm just worried about if 0.5" left/right & top/bottom margins would make the appearance too tedious/clunky to read – & then shoot me in the foot for trying to shove so much into one page. I'm dead-scared of being dinged when I'm applying this-late to MS/GS/JPM. Yh, I know it was stupid to wait the long—but personal circumstances

Your 'worries' about the margins of the CV?

Are you serious

I hear 1–2" margins are the usual recommendation in Imperial College

Now that we've got the fun part out of the way. Let's actually do something helpful, PM me your CV and I can have a look if that's any help. Let me know.
