Including side-hustle on resume - experienced professional

Curious to hear others thoughts on this. I'm in a senior position with a large company that I've been with since I graduated (5 years ago). I'm looking at applying to another company, but I'm not sure I should include my side-hustle on my resume. I started a company 3 years ago that has done quite well (nothing to jump ship over to). It's not selling peanuts on the weekend - it's incorporated with assets and earnings. I think it would be great to show that I was able to build something and create value in my down time, but would companies see that as a distraction? The side-hustle hasn't hindered my performance at the company I'm with. I've been promoted twice and recognized for top performance and results. What are your thoughts? Should I include the side-hustle?

definitely include it. Where's in a culture now where people want to see that side hustle because it's so easy to start a business (not easy, but easier than it's ever been in terms of making something a side hustle). It shows that you have other interests, can work at something, and also makes you an interesting person. That's usually want companies want to hire which I what I think a lot on here get wrong. It's not about this GPA or that school, it's can you work, communicate and think things through.

I'd say this is an easy no. The interview process is still a "show me you're passionate about working here" barometer. Showing that you have a side hustle at your current job and will continue at this new job says a) I will not be 100% committed to you; 2) I may be distracted; 3) if the business takes off I am leaving you in the lurch; and 4) There may be conflicts of interest between the two jobs and compliance may have to get involved (compliance often has to get involved if you make any money outside your FT job, even if its like being a bartender on weekends)

Is any of this true? Answer: It doesn't matter. Perception is reality in the interview process, and this will be the perception. Get the job then when you start you can impress your new colleagues with it.
