jungleboy's resume - Need Resume Help for SA IBD

Hey WSO Monkeys,

Like many, I have been a long time reader but this is my first official post. I am a junior at a semi-target/non-target looking for an IBD Summer Analyst position for 2013 summer. I have got two finance/IB internships under my belt and a decent GPA (hopefully).

I really need your guy's opinion: my dream is to breakthrough into a top bulge bracket or elite boutique IBs either in NY or SF.

Check out my resume http://www.razume.com/documents/27567 and provide any criticisms and things im lacking on my resume PLUS my overall chances in breaking into IB for SA position this upcoming summer. SB's for helpful comments!

Thanks,

jungleboy

i guess your Malaysian or from SE Asia. Hope you don't have any accent when speaking english. Not to deter you from applying but some people at my school had heavy accents and it was hard to understand them at times... especially during recruiting info sessions...

for resume: don't list things out.... write down what your work resulted in.... Chances: recruiting is really really really bad this year from asking friends in the industry (i.e. analysts, associates from my school) and just look at how many personnel banks are cutting.......so be open to all options.... like i'm considering corp dev at random companies or doing extra classes for a potential shot at a masters program.... and just continuing on at a lower MM i work at until graduation....
