Junior Resume - Harsh Criticism Welcomed!
Target junior looking for MBB/IBD SA. Please be harsh :) I've attached two versions for your consideration - one I've seen used by many MBAs (First Last) and the second is more M&I (First Last 1).
I am also wondering if I should keep the startup experience for MBB recruiting and remove it for IBD - any suggestions?
Thanks!
I would use M&I format.
As a fellow junior......fuck your resume is good.
Other than that, your resume looks pretty sharp. I would remove it for IBD interviews unless you have a good story to why you transitioned from ibd to consulting.
I would make the spaces between each separate entry smaller. It'll give you more room later on too if you need to add things plus it will make your resume less cramped.
As a fellow junior I expect to see you at some superdays.
One thing I would note is that you don't have any quantitative data (i.e. numbers) in your bullets.
The only thing I'd recommend is changing all your verbs to past tense.
Otherwise, one of the better resumes I've seen on WSO. Good luck.
I really like the second one, really strong resume. Only thing I would say is maybe add some numbers to quantify your projects/experience
