Just finished my freshman year at Amherst, looking for resume advice

Hi Guys! I just finished freshman year and sadly, I don't have a formal internship this summer. I am going to work a retail job and may also intern in the finance department of a tech company, so nothing really related to investment banking.

Can you guys help me improve my resume so I can be better positioned for sophomore recruiting?

I'd take off the high school stuff. Also things that you are currently involved in need to be in the present tense. For example:

I would change "Pitched healthcare stocks to add to the portfolio, namely Gilead Sciences and AbbVie" to "Pitch healthcare stocks to add to the portfolio". Leave out the Gilead and AbbVie, that leaves something to talk about in an interview.

"Reported on major financial news in the healthcare sector every week" to "Report on major financial news..."

etc...
