LSAT Score on Resume?
Hi everyone, I’m at a v5 law firm in NYC in a relevant practice area, and I’m beginning to reach out to people regarding a switch into IB—most likely Rx.
I have a high LSAT score (>99th percentile), and I’m wondering if I should put it on my resume? My instinct is yes, but just want to make sure it wouldn’t receive a negative reaction (e.g., “why is this irrelevant thing on here for banking?”).
Thank you for your opinions in advance.
I would. You're already at a law firm so why not show you're smart.
People may question it if you didn't have law all over your resume, but I think it's fine as is. Maybe put the (xxx/max score) or percentile (99.5th percentile or whatever) so people who didn't take LSAT know it's impressive
That’s a good thought. Thank you
Yea i agree with the percentile thing. I know how lsat scores work only because my brother took it. Otherwise i doubt finance ppl know how good a 173+ is unless ur interviewer also have a JD
ive made the same jump and have my lsat score (175). if you got a great sat math score, id include that too
