Medical Leave of Absence on Resume?

Hey guys,

I'm a senior at a target who is applying for FT roles.

I'm coming back from a pretty serious surgery that forced me to miss the last academic year. On my transcript it shows that I took a medical leave of absence but I wasn't sure if I should include this on my resume since many firms don't ask for transcripts for 1st round interviews.

I'm just worried that the I do not have anything listed for the summer of 2016.

Will firms overlook this since I have an EB SA position listed for summer 2015?

Thanks in advance!

I recommend not saying that. Resumes for should be you to be to to demonstrate your unique techniques and skills, not explaining things. Go ahead and list what your experience is and the various knowledgable skills you can demonstrate, no life stories, excuses, or issues. Once again, I would acknowledge in person rather on a Resume.
